An Amazing Step-Up from the Dyson AB08 / AB12
The Airblade HU02 represents a huge improvement on the previous Airblade AB08 / AB12 model.
Using a more focussed V-shaped blade of air, this hands-under dryer can deliver an average dry time of only 12 seconds. 
This is also helped by the use of Dyson's V4 digital motor that runs at 1000W.

It is also more compact than previous Dyson Airblade models. 
Sitting a mere 10cm off the wall, the slim and compact Dyson HU02 slides seamlessly and securely on to a mounted back plate for easy installation.
It can be removed from this plate just as easily for ongoing maintenance, cleaning, and repair in the unlikely event the HU02 breaks down.

90,000 rpm to deliver a 12-second average dry time, the Airblade HU02 is up to three times quicker than other commercial hand dryers.

Furthermore, the Dyson HU02 is protected against damage, both accidental and malicious, and tampering.
The durable polycarbonate casing keeps the internal components safe and anti-tamper 4mm screws prevent any of your customers getting past it. 
Also, the fact that it sits 10cm from the wall with no greppable components gives little room for leverage.

Improved Sound Suppression and Hygiene

One of the primary goals for Dyson with the HU02 during development was to reduce noise and improve hygiene.

Using an inner diffuser that directs airflow through silences and smaller apertures—reduced from 0.8mm to 0.55mm—the dryer produces a maximum 79dbA in noise under regular conditions, making it 35% quieter than other Airblade models.
The HU02 Airblade is approved by the Noise Abatement Society and achieved their Quiet Mark award.

Previous Airblade models were met by skepticism from consumers on the hygiene front.
Dyson addressed this with their HU02 models by:

1.    Using an antibacterial coating on the polycarbonate casing; and
2.    Installing two HEPA filters that capture 99.95% of bacteria- from the air.

Together, these hygiene improvements mean the Dyson Airblade HU02 meets NSF Protocol P335, the standard for hygienic dryers.

With reprogrammed software, the 1,000W Dyson digital motor V4 makes the Dyson Airblade V hand dryer 35% quieter than its predecessor.

HEPA-filtered air.
Dyson Airblade™ hand dryers have HEPA filters installed to capture 99.95% of bacteria-sized particles from the air.
 Along with an antibacterial coating and touch-free operation, it helps prevent the spread of bacteria. So Dyson Airblade™ hand dryers meet every part of NSF Protocol P335, which defines the criteria for hygienic hand dryers.

Optimised sound paths.
We made multiple improvements to the acoustics using a semi-anechoic testing chamber. A redesigned impeller and inner diffuser optimise air paths through specially-designed silencers. And apertures reduced from 0.8mm to 0.55mm wide cut noise without losing air speed.

Airblade™ technology.
HEPA-filtered air is channelled up the machine by the motor, forcing sheets of filtered air through precision apertures at high pressure. Water is scraped from hands at 430mph, drying them hygienically in 12 seconds.
